Meeting between Mr. Laurent Fabius and his Jamaican counterpart (Paris, June 20, 2014)
Mr. Laurent Fabius, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development will meet tomorrow with Mr. Arnold Joseph Nicholson, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Jamaica.
Strengthening relations with the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean is a priority for French diplomacy.
During his meeting, Mr. Laurent Fabius will discuss key international issues and our cooperation in the Caribbean region. He will also take stock of our bilateral projects, notably those in the economic field. An exchange of views on our cooperation with respect to the fight against climate change, in preparation for the 2015 Paris Climate Conference, is also planned.
