Mali – Terrorist attack (October 13, 2015)

France condemns the terrorist attack on October 13 against a convoy belonging to the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) in the region of Timbuktu, which killed six civilians and injured several other people, including a Malian soldier. The swift intervention by the Malian army caused the attackers to flee.

We extend our condolences to the victims’ families.

We reaffirm our support for the Malian authorities as well as for MINUSMA.
