Cameroon – Attacks (November 28, 2015)

France condemns the deadly attacks carried out on November 28 in Dabanga in northern Cameroon.

We extend our condolences to the victims’ families.

France stands in solidarity with Cameroon and reaffirms its support for the countries in the Lake Chad Basin involved in the fight against terrorism.



Mali / United Nations – Attack against MINUSMA (November 28, 2015)

France condemns the terrorist attack which killed two peacekeepers and a civilian contractor working for the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA) in Kidal on November 28.

We extend our condolences to the victims’ families as well as to the authorities of the countries concerned: Guinea and Burkina Faso. The perpetrators of this attack must be brought to justice.

France pays tribute to the troop-contributing countries’ commitment and the work of MINUSMA. It supports the efforts of the Malian authorities, the African and international partners and the United Nations to promote lasting stability in Mali.
