M. Laurent Fabius has appointed Mme Christine Fages Ambassador, Coordinator of the interministerial Ebola taskforce.
France is intensifying its efforts to respond to the crisis:
at bilateral level, our aid is being concentrated, at the international community’s request, in Guinea. An Ebola treatment centre, which the President decided to set up, will soon be added to this;
with its multilateral contributions, French aid amounts to more than €70 million. We have taken many initiatives to increase the international response to the epidemic, in conjunction with our European partners and the international organizations.
