Condolences / Condoléances

 PAGE 11/12

My sincere condolences go out to the families and friends of the victims of this horrific crime against humanity. I cannot image the pain and sadness you all may be feeling at the moment in time, but I pray that France can come back from this blow bigger, stronger, and better then before. Yesterday I might have been American, but today, I truly am French. May those who have lost their loved ones find love and peace in this message. This is not impossible to come back from Parisians, FRENCH IS NOT IMPOSSIBLE! My prayers are with you.

We were very shocked to hear about what happened in Paris on Friday. It is so horrible to know that in this world there are still groups who have intentions of hurting innocent people that way. We are sorry for what has happened and we want to support the people who have been affected by the tragedy as much as possible.

Bonjour, it is with heartfelt sadness that we see this happen again. Our hearts are heavy with the pain of sorrow and loss your countrymen are feeling. We in the United States would like for your country to know that we stand beside you in support and with firm resolve that those who did this will find just cause to pay the price for their horrific action. Viva la France !

My prayers go to Paris, France in general and the whole world at large!

We here in the United States are so sorry for what happened in Paris on the 13th. It was both shocking and very saddening. I hope that you’re country can heal from this and stop the terrorists who did this. We know how it feels too be attacked. On 9/11 a French woman said that "Today we are all American’s." Now we say "Nous sommes français." God bless you all.

My heart goes out to the people of France. Although this is a horrible tragedy, God is still on His throne and I pray that there will be healing in this world..that we will learn to love each other and live in peace.

My thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims, their families, the citizens of Paris and all of France. I am so saddened by the events I cannot help but cry. Paris is a second home to me and my wife. We are both in shock. We stand together with all of France in this terrible time.

Bonjour, I am so sorry for your losses and for those who are injured. I hope they get better and that you recover from your losses.

Along with my French exchange student, I express extreme sadness and distress at what has happened in France. This atrocious act of violence should not be allowed to repeat itself. I am so sorry to all of those who have lost their loved ones, their friends, and their families. No one should ever have to experience loss from this. Our hearts go out to yours.

My condolences go to those affected by the tragedy in Paris. I sincerely pray that God will help you through this time of great sorrow and loss.

Ensemble

  Nous sommes avec Paris. #JeSuisParis

My condolences to the people of Paris, this is a horrible act against humanity and I cannot imagine a loss of so many lives that did not fully get to live there life. You will be in my mind and heart, I will do as much as a human to help from the U.s to France. All we can do is live for today and hope for a better tomorrow, I can not express how sorry I am to hear this tragic news, none the less feel the pain you all are in. Just know you are not alone, we are here for you and to help in whatever you need as our allies.

My deepest condolences to the people of France and all that were affected by the attacks. Thank you to all of the people who stepped up to save lives on Friday and protect others. You are all loved and my family and I have and will be praying for you all. God bless you.

Quand j’ai lu l’article, j’ai beaucoup pleure. I do not know why ISIS did such a thing, but i do know that it was a devastatingly terrible act. France is a magnificent country of brave hearts that have promoted equality, peace, and diversity among all. I may not know the families personally, but i want them to know that my strength and support is always with the. I would like to give my condolences to the people who have suffered, and i hope that the Universe will help their loved ones in reaching solace. If not for France, America would not be the country it is today, and we will always stand with the French. "Vive La Liberte! Vive la France!" I am extremely disgusted with the terrible act that took place, and my heart goes out to all who have lost loved ones. France, we are always with you, tout le temps.

My sincerest condolences to you all. I know how it feels to lose someone. May god help you all and make everything go into peace. To all the families that lost a loved one and being an innocent person from the event that happened last Friday, my heart is with you all.

My sincere condolences for the evil act perpetrated on the people of France. I concider France one of our oldest & dearest Ali’s ! An attack on France is an attack on the USA ! God Bless & and save you!

My condolences to those who lost their lives on Friday in Paris. I express love and support to the countless innocent civilians injured and murdered by the viscous attacks. I believe that love and hope can overpower the fear and loss that France has faced. As Americans, we will stand by France throughout the healing process. It’s a very unfortunate time that people such as terrorists feel the need to hurt innocent people. I believe that we all wish that peaceful times could come across the world, but ever since the first human, there has been violence. We cannot eradicate violence, but we can work to try and prevent it. All of my love goes out to those in Paris and all of France. May the families of the victims get justice for loss. Love is stronger than fear.

I stand with Paris. Prayers for all the victims and their families. Du courage!

What happened on Friday was very tragic. I hope France and the rest of the world will recover from this horrific event. I send my love to all the families, friends, and citizens of France.

Words cannot express the sorrow felt by everyone regarding the attacks in Paris on Friday the 13th. My dearest condolences and prayers go out to those who have lost those who were special to them, it is a great loss and a terrible tragedy. May we all come together, in these times of pain, anger, and sorrow to support those who have lost loved ones and to mend the fear and brokenness of France. France has been a supportive ally to the United States, and the United States will support France with love and strength.

My sincere condolences to the families affected by attacks of the 13th. We stand with you in this time.

  Soyez fort, France.

My sincere condolences to the families and friends that have suffered due to this terror act. It is wrong and sad that a break of justice is presented in this matter. We praise the people who are helping and presenting things for the injured. Stay strong France, and you will thrive as a country. Again, my sympathy and love to those who have died or suffered injury.

When I first heard about the situation in Paris, there were 80 deaths, then 90, then 100, and the number didn’t stop growing for a long time. While it is easy to focus on the bad, we cannot give them what they want. Focus on the stories of people opening their homes up, carrying the injured, and taking care of each other. While it was an act of terror, we will never let ourselves be terrorized. The US will always stand with our greatest and oldest ally. We love you, we support you. Stay strong France.

To all that are effected by this tragedy, I am infinitely sorry and horrified that this is the world we live in. The victims will forever be remembered and they died as true heroes. American hearts and prayers are with you and we are sending lots of love your way

  America stands with France

I was completely shocked to hear about what happened in Paris on Friday, seeing to that it is the fourth major attack to this country in this past year alone. Nothing makes me sadder than the death of innocents. These people did nothing wrong and did not deserve to die. With the death toll slowly rising more and more anger floods into the American public. The hospital workers, civil workers and police and military forces deserve to be applauded for their efforts during these trying time. Just as France stood with America during 9/11, we will stand with France. My thoughts and prayers go out to not only the people of Paris and those directly effected by this tragedy but to all the people in France today. I pray for their safety and future prosperity. Lots of love Soyez forte❣

As the days grow darker, only one light is needed to illuminate a dark room. November 13 was a dark day in France and at the hands of terrorists over 150 French men and women were killed. Our hearts from around the world shine brightly in support of our French brothers and sisters as they go through this terrible time. Nous sommes tous Francaise

Our hearts are with France in this horrible time. Love.

I wish the people of Paris the ability to overcome these attacks and to recover fully.

Thoughts go out to the lives lost in Paris. For whatever reason the terrorists performed such horrifying acts, may the lives of the dead rest in peace

J’y crois. On pense à vous. On vous aime. Vive la France.

I am an American who teaches French in the US. Paris has always been a second home for me and my family. Our deepest condolences as your city heals. We stand with you, and look forward to visiting you again soon.

We are deeply sorry for the tragic loss of innocent lives. May the Almighty Bless their families. Such a sad time for France

My wife and I send our deepest and heartfelt condolences to the victims and the people of France. The acts of barbarism perpetrated by Islamist Extremist terrorists, have to be punished with the same vigor that Nazism, a similarly barbaric ideology to control the world, was confronted during World War II. It can’t be left to stand. It has to be wiped out. The notion that innocent civilians will pay an unwarranted price, is a terrible thing to contemplate. Many innocent Germans and Japanese were killed, but what had to be done had to be done. We have to get rid of ISIS at whatever cost, and the civilized world has to unite to do it. One would wish that humanity would have learned from the past, but it looks like a new lesson is needed. Evil ideologies like that of ISIS have no place in a civilized world. It is a cancer that has to be excised.. We stand together with you.
Vive La France!!!
Sincerely

Without France there would be no United States. We stand with you!

We are one with our great ally France. We are very sorry for this horrific tragedy. We look forward to our next visit. Vive’ la France..!

wish i had words to make your sadness disappear..truth is i don’t, but I have love for you all and sending it knowing that i cried with you all last night grieve your loss, know you’re all not alone the world is with you.....

The people and government of Paris and France are in my thoughts and prayers. You are our oldest allies. We must continue to stand together. Vive laFrance! I feel a special bond since my father, Thomas Minnick is buried in Normandy American Cemetery. I met many wonderful French people during my 2012 visit to Normandy, Amilly (B-17 crash site) and Chartres. God bless France.

You are in our thoughts.and prayers.

I am so very sorry for the loss of these beautiful souls. I pray for France. Stay strong, fight hard.

My heart is broken; I am so saddened by the tragic events in Paris. May there be some comfort for your country men and women in the solidarity of support rising from all corners and people of the world, as I join them in sending my sincerest sympathies. I will never forget hearing a woman in France declaring on September 11, 2001 that "Today we are all American." Well, today we are all proudly French.

My deepest condolences to Parisians. God bless La France and keep you ! We stand with you.

God bless the nation of France! We the citizens of USA support you and pray for the healing of your country after this tragedy!

May God be with all the survivors of these awful attacks. May HE protect France and all peoples who are targeted by terrorists. Peace to the people of France.

I am grieving with you and feeling afraid for the future. These people (ISIS) aren’t going away without force, I believe. But perhaps time will allow you to heal, for your heart to look back with good memories. My name , or better my husband’s, is French, but alas I am not—I am of Scots-Irish stock whose family came to America before our independence was established. That would not have happened without French help. I am thankful in my grief. Be careful, and learn to love again. Prayers and blessings to you all.

My sincere condolences go to the families of those who lost their lives in the latest atrocities against innocent people in Paris last Friday. May the Universe help those who have lost their dear one to overcome their sorrow and give them solace! I would like to give you all my condolences for the victims of this terrible act. France is great country that has always promoted democracy, diversity and freedom. Our hearts are with you, country of freedom. I have friends in Paris and the South West and my prayers and thoughts are with all of you. Sincerely.

As a retired military and police officer I want to express my sincere and heart felt prays to the people of Paris and all those who have been effected by this terrorist act on innocent people, my god bless those who have been injured and suffering my he take the pain away from them. Also my god give guidance to the French Officials in giving them guidance to handle and make proper decisions to deal with the terrorist. God Bless.

We stand with our French brothers and sisters, that this vile act of boundless hatred will not go unpunished. Also, the horrific attacks of November 13 will never destroy the true French spirit. The world united will rise above these monsters who took so much from France and the rest of the world. Stay strong and know that you’re never alone!

My condolences to the people of Paris and France. May all nations stand with you in your hour of need. Regards from Wisconsin.

  I stand with Paris.

Stay strong people of France. We feel your pain and stand with you. Nothing can tear down one of the world’s best countries.

France will always stand for freedom and equality. No one can change that. God bless France and the French people of all faiths.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims of these horrible attacks, their families and to the French people as a whole.

I’m a French-American citizen... My heart bleeds since Friday. I’m thinking to all these families affected by this horror. I’m thonking to all police officers , every soldiers, every firefighters and to all those people who have collected, protected and rescued people seeking shelter or injured. I proud to be french, I’m proud to be american after the mark of affection send by the President Obama.
God Bless France, God Bless America against terrorism.

If it were not for France, America would not have won its independence. Now America stands with France. We mourn together. Let us now unite together against a common adversary.

We stand in complete solidarity with our French allies and friends. Together we must fight against the barbarians who brought this unspeakable violence to the people of Paris. France is my "deuxieme pays" and today "Nous sommes tous francais". Vive la Liberte. Vive la France.

My heart goes out to the French nation and all of its people who are suffering from the horrible terrorist attack in Paris. I know that in dealing with this you will have the full support of the United States and its citizens, support for its great friend from its beginning, France. Thank you.

My husband and I visited your beautiful capitol this year. We are saddened to hear about the horrific loss of life, and our thoughts and good wishes are with you always.

God bless you all. Our thoughts, love and prayers are with all of France.

I know at the moment there are no words that can ease the pain of the people in France especially those who have lost loved ones. I am remembered of the words in the famous song We shall overcome. Indeed the people of France and the world must and will overcome this hatred that one holds that brings such destruction. I am of the view that if someone believes in someone or something that can harm and bring injury to others then this "belief" has no place in society. Good and truth will prevail over hatred and lies. France you will survive.

My heart goes out to the French people, our friends, in this time of distress. I love Paris and what has happened breaks my heart.

Nous sommes tous des Parisiens! My condolences to the families who lost loved ones in this horrific tragedy. We Americans stand strong with France.

From our family to the people of France, we send our condolences and prayers. All of America stands with our French compatriots.

Thank you for providing this way to send condolences. I/we are very saddened for the loss of life in France, and I/we love Paris. Vive la France.

We are so sorry for what has happened in Paris. It is truly the most wonderful of cities with great restaurants and cafes. We pray for those who have suffered and died in this terrible attack.

I am heartbroken to hear of this tragedy. I feel so bad for all the people who were killed and injured and for their family and friends and all the people of France. We all need to unite against these terrorists. I will pray for you all and pray every day for peace in this world.

My prayers are with you and my heart breaks for the evilness done to all of you! I am sending from Colorado Springs,Colorado and we are all sharing in your grief!

My heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to all who were affected by these horrible terrorist acts. We as Americans feel your loss, fear, and sorrow. America stands with our French brothers and sisters.

Please accept my sincere condolences on the events that befell your beautiful city. I had the pleasure of spending a few hours in Paris eight years ago and despite my trepidation about being an American who only knew a few phrases in French, I was touched by the warmth of the French people. I hope to return some day to find a Paris stronger and as beautiful as I did before.

My wife and I are saddened and sickened by this barbarous attack on the citizens of Paris. We hope that the remaining perpetrators and those that support tham are swiftly apprehended and that the victims and their families find peace and healing.

  We are all with you.

I’m so sorry the world is a cruel place. I pray for you and everyone that you may find peace, love and light during times like these and always. Please stay strong. We are standing with you.

My deepest condolences for the outrages perpetrated on Paris on Friday evening. I find it impossible to understand how any moral rubric used by such attackers can be used to justify their actions. I can understand resentment and hostility toward the West by many many less privileged peoples, but to savagely lash out at random individuals for the historical accident of their time and place of birth is incomprehensible to me.

Please know we mourn with you and pray for you in this time of challenge. We are France.

We want to express our heartfelt sympathy to the French people. We stand in solidarity with you against barbarism and intolerance.

Know that many people in the United States share your shock and grief; blessings and healing to your country.

For everyone who lives in Paris, has been to Paris or has ever dreamed of going to Paris, I stand with you. Paris is is a city of beauty, love and inspiration and an affront on Paris is an affront on us all. We all mourn with you. Let us not forget the terrorism that happened in Beirut as well. We must all stand united.

May those who are suffering come through their pain to find safety, peace, joy, and love. May those who are afflicted by fear, anger, and ignorance come to realize liberty, equality and fraternity. Let us bring light where it is dark, healing where there is pain, understanding where there is ignorance, and prosperity where there is misery. VIVA LA FRANCE!

So sad. My heartfelt sympathies to our French brethren. Such a great country and such wonderful people.
Be strong.

This obscenity, committed upon the city that is the very center of civilization, of humanity, brings a pain my country knows all too well. Please do know that we stand with you, and that you are in our thoughts, our hearts, and our prayers.
As you mourn, and bid farewell to so many sons and daughters of your noble republic, it is my hope that you find comfort in the knowledge that no weapon, no act of madness, will ever, for even the briefest of moments, dim the light that is Paris.

My heart breaks for the people of France and the terrible tragedy you are enduring. You are in my thoughts and prayers as I grieve with you in your loss. God be with you in this time of sorrow and always. Loving regards

I have been running away from reading the news. It is so terrifying it is even hard to start to imagine it. I pray for all of you.

My thoughts and prayers are with all the people of France. May God bless you!

The families of the victims and citizens of Paris will remain in my thoughts and prayers. I visited this most beautiful city just a few months ago and the people were so welcoming. This senseless attack is truly heartbreaking. Americans stand with you at this painful time.
My sincerest condolences

As American citizens we stand with you during this time. We send our condolences as we share in your shock and grief as your resilience is witnessed throughout the world. Vive la France!

  Dear Citizens of France,
My heart goes out to all of those affected by this unfathomable tragedy. We are thinking of you and sending you our strongest support.

I dedicate my goal of learning French to all of you. You will be in the my thoughts every step of the way.
Wishing you peace, healing and strength. We are with you!

My thoughts and prayers go out to all in France. My heart broke when I heard the news, such a beautiful city that does not deserve this.

Stand strong— you are not alone.

My cousin was in France and I have not heard from her, hoping she is safe.

So sorry to hear about the lives lost in the bombing recently. My heart and prayers go out to the families and friends, stay strong and keep having faith in God Vive Le France!

J’espère qu’ils vont tous bien.

May the good Lord give you comfort at this terrible time. You are all in our prayers. May God bless your people and keep them all safe.

Respectueusement.

I’m so sorry for the terrible acts of terrorism that have hurt your beautiful city. My thoughts and prayers are with you Paris.

Prayers and condolences are with the people of France.. God bless you all.

Dear People of France, Our family in the USA sends you condolences on the loss of so many innocent people in Paris. There are no words to describe such grief.

My tears for all of France emerge thru my eyes but are created in my heart. Like millions I have no answers but even more disturbing no reason why. I cannot feel the pain of victims, their families and friends because it is such an intensely private and personal loss that only you can feel and know. But, I can grieve with all of Paris and France as a member of the world.I am but one miniscule speck who joins millions of others who, even though for many your lives will always remain changed and missing unrecoverable pieces of your hearts forever I will not forsake your losses. My prayers are for a loving God of your chosing to forever follow you, remain your strength and one day let sunshine and love be the life we can all share as one community of the world and the darkness of such days past be delivered to the gates of hell. With respect, heartbreak and genuine love I send my love to all of France.
A friend,
Lansing, Michigan USA

My ancestors have stood beside you from Scotland to America and our family will always stand by you. Sending light and strength. Hold Fast from the MacLeods in Virginia.

  Vive La France!

My heart bleeds for Paris. To the French, know that America has your back. To Paris, know that we along with the world weep with you. To the perpetrators, know that your time on Earth is finite.

My heart breaks with this tradgedy and acts of evil. I pray God’s Grace and comfort be with you all.

My thoughts and Prayers are with the families and friends who have lost. Hard to see terrible actions happening to good people. Stay Strong Paris.

Aujourd’hui, nous sommes tous la France.

Our thoughts and hopes for the future are with you.

I send my prayer and condolence to the loved ones whose hearts are broken.

Words cannot express the pain and disbelief at such a horrible, intended event. The U.S. is all too familiar with those whose beliefs make no sense for humanity, 9/11 is still fresh on our minds after 14 years. I know France will endure and will remain strong.

My families prayers are with your great nation at this difficult time, may this never occur again.
God bless the people of France,

La monde est avec France. Je suis très désolée pour l’attaque.

I am American but come from a deeply Francophile family. We have visited Paris and France many times and have many French friends. When I heard about the attacks in Paris I felt as though it was an attack on not only on the innocent victims, and on France, but also an attack on me, and my family and some of the best memories of my life. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims. Please accept my condolences. The spirit of France is unconquerable and the values of fraternite, liberte and egalite will prevail.

Je suis paris. Je prie pour la France. Liberte! Solidarite! Fraternite!

  À Victore !...VIVE L’ FRANCE!!!!!!

My heart is heavy for the violence in the beautiful city that I love so much. It amazed me when facebook’s "safe" notification was used by close to 500 of my friends. Paris is deeply in our hearts. As one friend put it, "a strike against Paris is truly a strike against us all." Within the last month we have visited you to apply to visas to relocate from LA to the south of France. People ask us if this has scared us enough to change our plans. To the contrary. We are more committed than ever to joining our friends in your country and sharing our love of all things French with the friends we leave behind here.

  Be strong

I am just a blue collar worker in the U.S. My heart bleeds for the people of your great nation. France is our oldest ally. Members of my family fought in both World Wars to help Liberate you country from evil. We need to stand together, with help from the few civilized countries left, to stomp out this evil. My prayers are with your heartbroken people. As a citizen of Boston and the U.S, we have seen this savagery first hand. Stay strong and know that the world is with you. God Bless America and Vive la France!!!

My heartfelt condolences to the people of affected in paris beirut and russian airline crash the whole world is thinking and praying for you at this difficult time god bless you all

My sincere condolences to the people of Paris and the Republic of France. Know that your American friends stand with you. Vive la France

My deepest condolences to all the French people having to deal with this terrible assault. The fact that many of these victims were young people is heartbreaking. As we go forward to combat this terror in our midst, know that the people of the US walk beside you.

We stand together. Since day one you have always been here for America, now we are here for you.

As a frequent visitor to Paris over the years I am still numb to the recent horrific events in your beautiful city. One of my visits was shortly after 9/11. I will never forget the many expressions of sorrow I received during my stay. Please know that all decent Americans are praying for France and the families of those lost loved ones.

For some moments in history there are no words, the brutal events of November 13th are among them. The ’City of Light’ is temporarily the city of grief. Stay strong, but cry when you must. We New Yorkers share your grief.

VIVE LA FRANCE! Bon chance, mes amis. I don’t know your language but my heart is with you.

My heart and thoughts are with you. Vive l’esprit de la France!

Terrorist attacks anywhere are terrible, but somehow an attack on Paris feels like an attack on civilization itself, on the hope for a peaceful and civilized life. Let’s face up to the killers, but let us not become like them in our pain and anger. This was the advice France gave to America in the wake of 9/11. It was good advice then, and it’s good advice now. I so admire France and the French people and the French way of life, and I grieve for them today. Vive la France! Vive la Liberté! Vive l’humanité!

I am so sorry about what happened in your beautiful city, a place I still hope to see one day. I cannot comprehend such an attack. How can anyone? My thoughts are with you and with the families and friends that have to find a way to go on from this.
I wish I could do more than just extend condolences.

prayers and thoughts during this difficult time.stay strong .we are all in this together.RIP

We are all French today. Best wishes for a better tomorrow in the City of Lights.

This was an attack at the heart of the world. Our condolences to the French people. We stand with you to fight this kind of depravity.

The lights will never go out in the city of lights. America is with you in heart and spirit. Vive la France!

M so sad to hear that wish their spirit to the heaven.

My heart is very heavy for the wonderful people of Paris. When I have heard what had happened, I immediately think of my aunt, uncle and cousin who lives in the Paris suburbs. I would like to extend my and prayers and condolences to your country and the victims and friends during this time. The United States and France must continue to be in solidarity in the name of liberty, freedom and fraternity. God Bless.

My heart is your people and your beautiful city of Paris which I have visited. Thank you for giving the world so much beauty and may some of it ease the suffering of so many today. Vive la France!

Our condolences to our oldest ally...
From Lafayette to D-Day to " this present darkness" , our allegiance to one another is abiding and strong!

My deepest prayers and condolences. France will be strong.

Good morning, our love, thoughts and prayers continue with all the victim’s, families and friends. This is a nightmare but with all the strong folks in Paris and all over the world things will be ok. God Bless you all and keep that strong faith you all have. Amen

We were with you before 11/13, on 11/13, and will be with you forever.

To the people of Paris and the country of France. I watch with horror the news of the attacks in Paris. Such innocents lost! My thoughts and prayers are with you.

"...Tant qu’il y’a la vie on dit toujours qu’il y’a espoir." Que l’espoir d’un meilleur monde vous réconforte pendant ces jours terribles. Je prierai une rosaire par jour pour la France et les autres pays attaqués par ce terrorisme brutal.

As someone who has spent many holidays in France and has always found the people to be most welcoming and friendly, I extend my heartfelt sympathy to all the families and friends of the victims of the recent horrific attacks in Paris.

These were the acts of madmen. I am so very sorry for your loss, and your loss is our loss too. My prayers are with all who suffered the loss of their loved ones, and also with those who were injured and were fortunate to have lived. My prayers are with all who helped those who were in need. These were the acts of madmen. I have a Muslim friend and I know that he is not like these people. He has never supported violence. These were the acts of madmen. Although my heart is heavy with your loss, I am reassured that there are millions, if not billions, of people who share the pain of the people of France tonight, and who think of themselves as being close to all of you. These were the acts of madmen, and they do not, and they shall not ever define who the rest of us in the world are, nor how we should act toward each other. These were the acts of madmen, but your loss, is our loss, and we shall grieve with you, and we shall support you in our thoughts and in our prayers, as we would with any of our own family.

My husband and I wish to send our condolences to your country and Paris in particular. We are heartbroken by this attack on you. You have our deepest sympathy and our hearts and our prayers are with you. Long live France!

I am so sorry to hear of the events in Paris. My wife and I visited Paris, Belleau and Verdun in May of this year. We had a wonderful experience in your country. We plan to return there again in the future. Please know that we are with you, a few months ago we were all Charlie Hebdo, now we are all Pairisians.

I was fortunate to spend three weeks in France when I was in high school on an exchange program. Not only is it a gorgeous country, but the people I met and spent time with were amazing. From the restaurant owner who offered me a job, to the family I stayed with who gave me the experiences of a lifetime, I have never forgotten the beauty that is Paris.
My most sincere condolences on these terrible times.

Our heartfelt prayers and sympathy are with the people of France in the aftermath of this horrific event.

I visited Paris when I was young and fell in love with that beautiful place. Paris is life. My heart goes out to the people of France. Peace be with you.

To all of those who have endured tragedy, loss, or suffering throughout this horrific event, my personal thoughts and prayers are with you all. The darkness will not prevail over the light as good people around the globe stand with France in solidarity against this sickness.

So many prayers to all of the French people in these sad times. Our hearts go out to you.

I worked in France as an assistant English teacher at two high schools in Normandy and I enjoyed my time in France. My condolences go out to the French people.

NY stands with Paris. Police in the US stand with all French Police. God Bless!

I went through 9/11. I should know what to say to you. But I don’t. There are no words in any language to convey what one feels when faced by horrors that surpass the mind’s ability to understand the concept of "horror." I can do no more than offer my deepest condolences. And I can stand with France.

Please allow me to apologize for my French; it has been some years since my French studies.

We offer our deepest condolences to the families of those lost, and injured. We pray for peace and healing. May God guide you, uplift you, and watch over you in this difficult time.

I pray that all the people of the French Republic know that the people of the USA stand at their side in this hour of sadness. You also should know that we will do anything to help you in the fight for freedom. Those of us here with French blood proudly flowing in our veins stand united with our cousins back in La Belle France. Vive La France Libre!

Paris sweet ole France truest brethren of ours
Cities entire countrymen renowned for pure love

Violence tears our hearts leaving wakeful blood stains
Love of life, your country all of your brethren
Across the mighty oceans blue our tears do fly
Three days we’ll mourn and honor dearest fallen
Beware all extremist for France’s love is ah calling
Blackness of hate falls much darker then evil’s night
It’s wounded your Psyche time for Cupid to take flight
Cupid shall awaken give sleeping Psyche his sweet kiss
Extremist shall feel Frances lethalness by firm justice fist
Hates war seems to rage throughout all mankind’s history
Finding key to perpetual loves peace is an ultimate mystery
Ideological difference vastness creates senseless of all hate
Every once in a while a quiver of arrows is all haters fate
So as we recall the memories and pain of France’s oddest day
Voices of the world shall join all France as its Notre Dame prays
Fly swift and true and let Cupid’s most trusted love tip arrows fly

dear people of France, prayers for you in the wake of this tragedy, prayers for the wounded and for those who lost loved ones, wisdom for your leaders, and hope for a better day.

Paris does not ask for glory nor tears,
Parisian blood on walls and streets live streaming
in our lives, in the pit of our hearts.
Paris will never ask for the last rites in this world,
Paris, where innocents have died on this night,
Paris, the cradle of revolution,
Paris the city of light and lovers,
Paris, we pay homage to you on this night
of all nights.

As we watched in horror the attacks perpetrated in Paris, we are called to stand with France, our first ally, and to remember as Christians the eldest daughter of the Church, we know a great many Moderate Musilms stand against ISIS and have condemned this violence, all people of good will are with Parisans today. We know Paris as a city of love and life, and creativity. One that offered our Jazz musicians refuge from racism and oppression, one that gave us art and egalité, one that inspires countless honeymooners to vacation therein at the best times of their lives. Paris is part of us. Ruthless attacks on your way of life, are attacks on all humanity. I pray for peace, I stand by your country in opposing terrorism, I love Paris, long live France!

First of all, I a Muslim and I STRONGLY Condemn this act of senseless and hatred act of violence by people that are NOT MUSLIMS or even Human at all.
Please accept the deepest condolences from all average Muslims around the world!
I myself an average Muslim live around Chicago IL and my heart goes for all victims and their families who either lost their lives or hurt in this act. May GOD recover them from this and as a nation they come stronger out of this difficult time.
Lets get together without any differences of religion or language against these ’Abnormal Individuals’ and do not let them succeed in their evil plans. Lets show them that Together we stand against all kind of violence against Un-Armed and innocent people all around the world.

It is with profound sadness and heartfelt concern for everyone in Paris. In light of this senseless violence, my thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was hurt or who lost a loved one. God bless you.

Condolences to the people of France. Keep faith and stay strong. We stand with you.

As a friend of France, I wish to express the great depth of my shock and sorrow at the loss our world has suffered in the horrific attacks in Paris. I hope the United States shall support France In joint effort to vanquish the evil at hand.

I stopped by the Embassy this morning to leave a succulent plant, and left a card, which might have blown away. My message was that the plant is hearty and strong, like the French people and the French nation. And like this plant, France will endure. All decent people in the world stand united with France against these godless acts of destruction of human lives. We are here for you, France. We cry for the loss of innocents and we lock arms with you and yours in a united front against this terrorism. VIVE LA FRANCE.

  Monsieur l’Ambassadeur;
Respectueusement

Thank you for hosting me at Normandy Paris and Marseille. Your great hosts and im so lucky to know, you all.

Houston, Texas is praying for Paris.

I remember the shock and the unsettling fear after 9/11, and I had hoped never to see another horrific example of hate and inhumanity like it. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,

The whole world is suddenly French. We all stand by you in this hour of grief.
France who has given the world so much is now giving even in her time of difficulty.

  Mesdames et Messieurs,
I write briefly to convey my condolences, and horror at the atrocities committed in Paris. I was lucky enough to visit in my youth, and every day since my heart carries the joyous way of embracing life that I learned from the great and elegant people of France.
Vive La France!

I want to express my deepest condolences to the victims of last Friday’s attack. I pray for healing for their families and a speedy recovery for all those injured and that justice be served.
The Muslim community stands in solidarity with Paris.

Just want to say my family is praying for the French people and the government, may God be with you all,

  We are praying for you.

To the citizens of Paris and France our thoughts and prayers are with you in these moments that torture and try the souls of decent men everywhere.
If there was some way that the grief and pain that you are feeling due to this could be shouldered and shared by the rest of us in other places we would gladly do it.
It is greatly appreciated your nations standing up for the dignity, freedom and the rights of free men throughout the world.
It is true that times like these try the souls of honorable men everywhere.
It is hoped and prayed for that we as a civilization will persevere, endure, rise above and triumph over this madness soon.
One only hopes that the load that we as a civilization must bear does not break the will of the weakest in each of our respective countries.
It is only hoped that this act of recent barbarism incites a passion to arise in the west not to persecute law abiding Muslims, but to awaken a giant (like the one the Japanese awoke on 07 December 1942) in France. The United States, Britain and the rest of the west to end the scourge of the 21st century.
We the people of the United States stand not behind you, not side by side but arm in arm with the people of France to face barbarism that makes Medusa look like ones dream girl.
God bless you and your support of freedom throughout the world.
Regards,

  Chers amis,

To our Dear Friends in France: The grief you walk through these days is so painful for us in America too. You mean so much to us. Centuries of friendship has not dimmed our love for you, not in the slightest. We know and remember that our nation would not be here if it weren’t for you stepping in during the American Revolution with your assistance.
Our destinies are intertwined. More so, and this really hits close at heart for me, it was a French soldier in WWII that intervened and stepped in to prevent my father from being killed as a young boy of 5 years old in Asia 1940. Viva la France! Not only is there no America without you, there also would be no Travis family. We would have been obliterated. You have always eased our pain. We, with words of kindness, compassion, and brotherhood, pray it eases your pain. We send our love to you precious hearts.

Our sympathy, prayers and solidarity go to the people of Paris and France.

My sincere sympathies for the terrible events this past week in dear France.
I have friends in Paris and the South West and my prayers and thoughts are with all of you. Sincerely.

My husband and I send our thoughts and prayers to you and your countrymen in this terrible time of loss. We have loved France all of our lives and treasured the contributions you have made to the United States, since the days of our fight for independence and since 9-11. You are our oldest ally and friend and we stand ready to move our country to a stronger commitment to whatever it takes to destroy this evil that has struck our beloved Paris, the rest of Europe and at home in our country. We love France.

America is with France. France will endure as she has endured and will ultimately triumph over the forces of oppression and evil as she always has.
Vive La France.

Following the recent events in Paris, I, as a humble citizen of the United States, wish to express my sympathy for those who have lost lives or loved ones in the recent events in Paris. My uncle is himself a French citizen, living in Nancy near Luxembourg. Your country was our first ally. Vive la France!

I am just an American citizen but wanted to express my condolences to the families and friends of all those good folks who died or suffered in Friday night’s attack. I can say that "I know," as do all American’s the sense of horror, grief and outrage. I tears at ones very soul, it leaves the mind numb, it explodes the realm of possibility beyond the walls of sanity making the reality difficult to digest.
I am only a citizen but America is a democracy and regardless of cost or sacrifice to my own country I pledge my full support to whatever support, assistance or measures are required to help France heal and to provide the justice that needs to be served for the people of France, the nation of France, and for civilized humanity as a whole.
My peace and God be with you all.
An American citizen.

My heart breaks for the people of France. Please know that I & all other Americans are praying for you. It seems that evil & hatred know no boundaries. I pray that the love of God & of others around the world will help you heal. May God bless you.

I don’t even know how to write my grief at the absolute horror in Paris. My prayers & tears are for those wounded – for speedy recovery! And for those families that have lost their loved ones, I send a tear soaked hug to each one of them.....I am so in shock.
