Green Night at the Embassy of France

Green Night at the Embassy of France

Published on December 2, 2015

The fight against climate change is an issue in which everyone has a role to play. While Heads of State are gathered in Paris for COP21 to reach an international agreement to reduce global warming, the Embassy of France is organizing an event so that all citizens can take part in efforts to learn about and combat the effects of climate change.

On December 8, from 6pm to 11pm, the Embassy will invite the public to Green Night, which will offer films, photo and art exhibitions, music and conversations with major actors in the environmental sector, all exploring the theme of climate change. Event partners will include the City of Washington D.C., Conservation International, Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund, Climate Reality Project, D.C. Green Embassies Forum, DC Department of Energy & Environment and Energy Star.

Visitors may come and go as they wish during Green Night.

You may find the full program on Eventbrite. Reservation is required. The event is free and open to the public.
