French "Films on the Lake" - Chicago, June 21-Aug. 21

Published on June 20, 2016

The Cultural Service at the Consulate General of France in Chicago is presenting a new exciting free outdoor French film series Films on the Lake in partnership with the Chicago Park District, Bastille Day Chicago, Hyde Park Art Center, the Consulate General of Mexico and The National Museum of Mexican Art with the support of Kids Trail and France Chicago Center at the University of Chicago.

As part of the Chicago Park District’s 16th annual free outdoor Movies in the Parks, presented by Bank of America, the French films are shown in Chicago parks with English or Spanish subtitles on the big screen over the course of four summer evenings. Each screening is part of a larger celebration, in which musical entertainment and samples of food will be provided in partnership with each park community’s organizations and associations.
