France condemns the attack that targeted the public security building in the city of Mansoura this morning, killing and injuring many people.
We extend our condolences to the victims’ families and express our solidarity with the Egyptian people.

Mauritania - Elections (December 21, 2013)

France welcomes the smooth running of the parliamentary and municipal elections in Mauritania on December 21 and the high voter turnout noted by the election observation missions deployed by regional and international organizations.
The establishment of the new Parliament, anticipated since 2011, is a milestone in the democratization process under way.
