France condemns yesterday’s attack on a bus carrying South Korean nationals in Taba.

We extend our condolences to the victims’ families and assure the South Korean and Egyptian authorities of our solidarity.

France stands by the Egyptian people in the face of the scourge of terrorism and supports the transition towards democratic institutions open to all political forces that reject violence.

 

Bahrain – Violence (14-15 February 2014)

France condemns the violence and the attack which killed a Bahraini policeman on 15 February. We offer our condolences to the victim’s family.

France calls on all the parties to reject violence and show restraint. The political dialogue, which has just resumed, must pave the way for a more peaceful situation and for a lasting reconciliation between all sectors of Bahraini society.

 

Nigeria – Terrorist attack (15 février 2014)

France condemns the massacre perpetrated on 15 February in Borno State which, according to the latest report, cost the lives of over 100 people.

We express our condolences to the families and close friends of the victims of this appalling violence.

France reaffirms its solidarity with Nigeria in its battle against terrorism. (…)./.
