Ebola – United Nations – Security Council meeting (New York, September 18, 2014)

France will today participate in the UN Security Council meeting devoted to the fight against the Ebola epidemic, a week before the summit due to be hosted by the UN Secretary-General at the level of Heads of State and Government.

This global threat, which has already killed almost 2,600 people and is destabilizing the economy of the countries affected, calls, more than ever, for the mobilization of the entire international community and for increased coordination of efforts.

France will play its full role in this.
