World Day Against Child Labor (June 12, 2015)

Every year on June 12, World Day Against Child Labor reminds us that we must remain mobilized: Even now, one in every six children around the world aged 6 to 14 is engaged in work.

As President Hollande underscored yesterday at the International Labor Conference, France is fully committed, notably within the International Labor Organization, to the fight against this scourge.

France calls on all states to ratify and implement the International Convention on the Rights of the Child, in order to ensure that their rights are respected, especially their right to education.
