France has decided to raise to €1.05 million her humanitarian aid for the people affected by the floods in Pakistan.
At Bernard Kouchner’s request, €550,000 will go to helping the humanitarian organizations on the ground, and in addition €350,000 will be allocated to food aid, through the World Food Programme.
Also, France has decided, as part of her contribution to the High Commission for Refugees, to allocate €150,000 to helping Pakistan.
