This situation is worrying and I want to express our total solidarity with the American authorities. Hilary Clinton in fact telephoned me to warn me about the disclosure of these documents, which we are of course going to find out about.
I also find the disclosure of these documents very worrying because the necessary discretion, necessary confidentiality of diplomatic relations has been violated. It is really an irresponsible step on the part of those behind this disclosure. It is an attack on the sovereignty of the States, capable of weakening them and upsetting international relations. This irresponsible action is also likely to implicate people and put them in danger./.
