Nicolas Tenzer, Policy Expert, Holds Conference on Eurozone

The latest installment on “Follow the French” highlights the latest activities of Mr. Nicolas Tenzer, a French national and policy expert who will preside at a Brookings Institution conference in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, October 26.

The private event, titled “The European Union: Decline or Rebirth? A Look Toward 2030,” will allow Mr. Tenzer will share his perspective on the current state of the ongoing sovereign debt crisis of the Euro currency zone.

Mr. Tenzer is Co-Founder, Chairman and Director of the Initiative for the Development of French Expertise Abroad in Europe and Worldwide (IDEFIE), a private association of experts from the public and private sectors, as well as members of academia, business and elsewhere who share the objective of advancing French expertise throughout the world. Mr. Tenzer holds the position of Senior Lecturer at the Ecole Nationale d’Administration, France’s foremost school for the country’s future leaders in public life. He has served since 1992 as Editor of the political revue Le Banquet and is the author of Le Monde à l’horizon 2030: La règle et le désordre (The World’s Horizons in 2030: Rules and Disorder) (Perrin, 2011), and Quand la France disparaît du monde (When France Disappears from the World) (Grasset, 2008).
