As part of the November 11 Commemoration Ceremonies, 42 World War Two veterans received the Legion of Honor insignia at the Lycée Français of New York.

42 exceptional stories and extraordinary personalities that France wished to show its gratitude.

This year, four 8th grade students from the Lycée Français red passages, recalling – each in its own way – what the war used to be like.
