Paris, August 25, 2013

The French President spoke on Sunday 25 August to Mr David Cameron, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, about the situation in Syria.

They unreservedly condemned the use of chemical weapons in Syria.

The French President called for immediate and total cooperation by the Syrian regime with the United Nations mission, so that the inspectors can have unreserved access to the sites affected by the chemical attacks.

The Head of State and Mr Cameron also agreed to consult each other as soon as possible about how to respond to this intolerable act./.
