François Hollande had a telephone conversation on 2 December 2013 with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk about the situation in Ukraine.
The President and the Polish Prime Minister expressed their concern about the events that have been unfolding in Kiev for several days.
They condemned the violence that has left many demonstrators, policemen and journalists injured.
With Ukraine hosting a ministerial conference of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) on 5 and 6 December, they called on all parties to begin dialogue quickly.
The President and the Polish Prime Minister also recalled that the EU is ready to sign the Association Agreement with Ukraine, in accordance with the principles and conditions on which the Eastern Partnership is based./.
