European Union/Europe Day

Today, on Europe Day, I pay tribute to the Europeans’ action to further growth and solidarity on our continent.

We face the same major challenges: to implement effective economic and social policies, increase our attractiveness and employment, maintain Europe’s standing in the international arena, work for peace and help fight climate change.
