Russia/embargo on agricultural and agrifood products
Stéphane Le Foll wants to commend the market management measures proposed by the European Union to help the fruit and vegetables sector.
They are good news for producers, who are facing market difficulties following the Russian embargo.
The government remains fully mobilized to assess the embargo’s consequences on all our industries over the coming weeks and months.
France will exert its full influence in the discussions at European level, in order to forestall the embargo’s impact on the markets.
To this end, Stéphane Le Foll will meet his German and Polish counterparts in Bonn on 2 September. He will take part in the extraordinary meeting of agriculture ministers on the embargo, in Brussels on 8 September./.
