The French President spoke to Mr David Cameron to congratulate him on his success in the general election. He invited him to come to Paris once his government has been formed.
The President signalled his commitment to the deep friendship between France and the United Kingdom and to strengthening their partnership in every field, particularly in the EU. They agreed to work together for the success of the Climate Conference (COP21)./.
